Works, if you are willing to work with it.
Firstly, I've been using these disposable trays for about a year or two.
PROS:
These are disposable. Scoop them daily and you can make the tray last a month. Easy to replace, no mess. I use these trays inside of a large, plastic, covered cat box as my cat likes to kick litter everywhere. As these come in a pack of three, you can easily make them last three months with regularly scooping.
CONS:
The litter you use in these matters... a lot. If you use clay, the clay is going to gunk up and get stuck to the paper especially if your cat urinates a lot / in one spot. I've honestly yet to find a litter that works great in these, but I will say any clay litter (even if you scoop daily) has been awful, will stick to the paper at the bottom, and create a horrendous odor. If your cat likes to urinate in one spot, you're going to have a very annoying time. These are NOT tear / shred proof. My cat regularly scratches them up when digging. If your cat digs a lot, you're going to have pieces of paper all over the litter.
