Archiving old games is really important to me. It's hard to find older SNES, N64 and PSX titles. I picked this up as a way to play a lot of the games I grew up with. I have zero experience with the Raspberry Pi, but setup was extremely easy. Plugged in my HDMI port, plugged in a controller, turned on the device and I was good to go. Very pleased with the quality and selection of games. I found a lot of games I didn't expect to find (Jade Cocoon, Saga Frontier II, Breath of Fire IV) plus a really good selection. Older systems have near-complete libraries. SNES, NES, Genesis, Game Boy Advance games run flawlessly and have a huge selection. N64 and PSX selection is smaller, but still VERY good. If you're looking to get yourself a little retro nostalgia dream machine, this is it. Runs perfectly with my PS4 and XBox Series Elite controllers too.
