Wanted this collar for when going to the beach and I was hoping to use the vibration to break my dog's attention and stay close, and use shock for rare moments if misbehaves. Seemed to go nicely at first, but close to a month's use, one of the collars stopped charging. I mean, the red light was on, but when unplugging from the charger, it wouldn't power on. The remote seemed okay, so I switched to the 2nd one for now, thinking that maybe one is defective, so I'll just use the other one for now. Two months pass, it stops charging as well. Same experience, it just lights up red as if it was charging, and when I try powering it on (with or without the charger) I get no luck. I'm now turning my attention to the MFG warranty/support services, seeing that Amazon can no longer return my purchase or exchange it (was really looking to exchange first and foremost). To the ipets-mall.com people, the ball is in your court. I just emailed you through your support contact form, which is refusing to take my amazon order number. Doesn't seem to be a strong start here, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt until this matter is resolved. Will update after matter is resolved. -update 3+ months later- So I got my replacement, bit they only sent one back instead of replacing both. So minus one star for that. Otherwise, the collars work great so far. My dog splashes around in water and runs a lot with it. The range is good, and it's keeping my dog more aware with it on.
