I just put this together. 1 negative- the top was cracked. I reported it to the company, all waiting to hear back. Heard back from the company right away, they needed info from me (reasonable request) and sent out the replacement for the cracked piece as soon as I gave them the info. The only delay, quite honestly, was me! Otherwise- this is replacing a smaller piece of litter box furniture. I had used puppy pads in it, but he cats still managed to pee over the sides even though I had a high-sided litter pan. The jumbo litter loof was incredibly easy to put together. No tools, easy directions. I made a mistake and had to take a piece of but want worried about the screws- it's not particle board. Once it was together, my husband I moved it into place. It's not that heavy but it is big so unwieldy. I read earlier posts from folks who recommended sealing the seams so I got the silicone caulk out and did that. I also put double-sided tape around the sides to hooks the puppy pads in place. Yeah, way too cautious! Last, I took the ludicrous off my jumbo litter pan that was in another room, put it in, then put the lid on and locked the sides. Perfect!!! This litter box hasn't leaked in the past but I didn't want to take chances. If you are trying to decide whether or not to go jumbo- do! The litter box inside is Nature'Miracle hooded litter box. I tried the Clean jumbo cat pan with hood from Cat it Design- too big for the litter loo. Now that my cats have used this for about a week- I'm still loving it. Both of the cats use it, no problems. And I like having the extra room for my stuff- the top shelf is huge!
