I have listened to the Rubin Report for a couple of years, so I was excited to order his book 9 months before it came out. Dave seeks information. He doesn’t just seek information that will align with “his truth.” That’s what make him interesting. And his journey and intellect are what make this book amazing. A person only has one life, why would anyone want to live it with beliefs that are not thought through? The level of intellectual idiocy that is so rampant in our country today is jarring. There is so much in this book that got my attention. The statistics, the personal stories, the laying out of ideas to think about. If you’re going to believe something, know why you believe it and be able to defend why you believe it. This book does a fantastic job of pulling together so many loose ends into a guide for thinking your way to your beliefs and then standing up for those beliefs. No matter if you are on the right, left whatever be honest, be curious, be informed and be brave. It is well worth the read. I actually have to buy a second copy because I cannot resist highlighting so much of it.
