It definitely makes me feel a lot cooler in my constantly 80 degree bedroom. The remote is definitely finicky as other reviews have stated. You have to point it right at the thing and press a button to wake it up. The fan itself is actually not quiet at all in my opinion even on the quietest speed. It just sounds like a fan blowing, no other strange noises. In the video you can see and hear it on every setting and how strong the airflow is on my plants which are about 6ft away from it. You can also hear that I have to click the remote a few times to get it to work sometimes.
