Good to go!
My first Panini Maker. I eat sandwiches at least 4 times a week. Im a big man and I normally buy a loaf of sour dough and make 2 to 3 sandwiches out of that loaf. I've just made my 4th sandwich today (bought yesterday). After reading how to put items on to bread (on the internet) and or what to use...MAN, This last sandwich was awesome! I recommend using olive oil instead of butter (healthier and makes the bread crunchy instead of a bit mushy- I used precut sourdough). If u use tomatoes and or anything that is a bit watery, put those items into the middle of the sandwich instead of on top. This prevents sogginess of one side of bread due to to much liquid. My sandwiches have been Turkey, Ham, Salami, Provolone, with a pesto spread and either tomatoes and or jalapeños. My only negative on this item is the picture of what they advertise and what's on the box. No way you're getting two sandwiches onto this grill using that type of bread! Not that its that small, you just won't fit 2 normal sliced sourdough or equivalent type of sandwiches onto the grilling area. I won't deduct a star for that though. I very happy with my purchase .
