This product is hard to review as you won't know if it works unless there is a fire. Let's hope that never happens. What I will comment on is that it is easy to install. I also like that it is a 10 years enclosed battery. I don't want to have to worry about replacing batteries. So this was a plus. I will just test every couple weeks. One thing I learned in general, that carbon monoxide and smoke detectors DO have a life limit. Even if you are changing batteries faithfully and it is testing correctly, I would not be comfortable with a smoke detector that is 20 years old. I am going to be reliant on these to protect me for 10 years. I just replaced my carbon monoxide detectors as they double chirped at me. They did it 2 days apart, so I knew that it was a warning to replace. I KNOW all the detectors in my house need replacing, so I am using this product for the two reasons I stated above. Easy install. 10 year life lithium battery. And, the price is good. In researching via fire departments, etc. you DO NOT need to spend a fortune on smoke detectors.
