It takes a lot to make me yelp.... Wow! This thing literally got a sound out of me and then all three of my dogs that won't go near the fence line now. Ran 6 ft grounding rod from home depot into the dirt, made sure no grass or foliage was touching the line and gave it a grab. Wahbammm, my 6 year old panicked when he saw it hit me, he won't touch it, I don't touch it and the dogs don't touch it. Mission accomplished and now I can say it's safe for pets but it's the maximum I'd give em. It locked my entire body up uncontrollably. I made sure I had the worst of it. I poured water into the grounding rod, then grabbed both wires where both leads come out of the machine. Good fun, in all seriousness, if you have any heart condition do not play with this! I'm a about as tough as they come and this hot my attention.
