This was my first time using contact paper! So far so good. I just didn't realize I needed about 5 rolls of this paper. I started off with about 2. You want to buy extra just in case you mess up or have an interesting corner to do. Definitely adds a nice touch to my countertops! Update 1/21/23 countertops still going strong. I do avoid putting hot pans directly on the paper. I use a barrier for sure.I originally used clear caulk around the sink. I've not had to redo it and I mainly wash dishes in the sink. Still very happy with the contact paper!! I get so many compliments
