I got this to replace the 'standard' (low flow) apartment showerhead. First, it was very easy to install. I would recommend using some pipe tape (depending on how old the connections are for you), and possibly pliers, but this was simple enough to hand tighten. Once installed, operation is also very simple, and it works very well. The water pressure is much better than the previous head, even when you turn on both showerheads. Switching between the two is also easily done with the valve on the side of the big showerhead. Even though all this looks like chrome, it is primarily plastic.
