Love this toilet and its features. My wife wasn't real thrilled until she started using the heated seat feature. Couple of things to keep in mind. (1) Make sure all hoses are connected tight prior to installing. Our toilet came with a couple that were not tight. Didn't find this out until AFTER we had installed it. For a $1,000 toilet you'd think that you would not have to do this. One of the hoses that goes up into the electronics unit is actually pretty hard to tighten. Hard to turn the toilet over to get to it. THIS IS IMPORTANT - we found out after installing and had water everywhere after a couple of flushes. Wasted the wax ring that I had purchased to use with this unit. The wax ring (which is a one time use item) was not the fault. It was the manufacturer's hoses - not the water delivery hose that I attached to the unit. We ended up using the wax ring that came with the unit when we reinstalled and had no problems with it. No leaks upon reinstalling the unit. I guess I shouldn't have "ASSUMED" that the company had done it's job. (2) READ THE FINE PRINT RE. THE WARRANTY - IF the unit is not installed by a licensed plumber - the warranty is void. THIS IS HORRIBLE since it doesn't take a plumber to install a toilet for most people. I believe the company has done this so that they would not have to pay many warranty issues - SHAME ON THEM. (3) Floor bolts are accessed from the rear of the toilet. My arm would not fit in the space. My wife's did and she was able to tight them. (4) This takes TWO people to install. (5) The manual needs some work. The auto seat open and close comes with this feature turned off. The manual states to press the stop button and the toilet seat button. It does not state that you need to PRESS BOTH OF THESE BUTTONS at the same time. I found out the right combination through trial and error. Overall, we LOVE this toilet and recommend it with the information that I've provided in mind when you purchase and install it. EDITED: 06JUN20. After using this toilet for sometime now, I wanted to write and reiterate how much my wife and I STILL love this product. Company customer service also returned my phone call and helped me find the correct way to use one of the functions of the remote. Love a company that reaches back to its customers. Enclosed some photos of the installed toilet. Didn't have to worry about the toilet paper scare with this item! Also, as a guy, I LOVE THE NIGHT LITE!
