I am new to the world of EOs and was looking for my first "basic" diffuser b/c I didn't want to shell out $100+ for a fancy one. I took a chance on this one as it got mixed reviews, but I'm happy with it. It's small, light-weight, & made of cheap plastic. There is definitely nothing fancy about it, but it works. I've been using it non-stop (even through the night until it runs out) for the last week and haven't had any problems. I came back here today to order another one b/c I'm tired of carting it up & down the stairs. It does a great job in average-sized rooms. I have an open floorplan on my main level, & I diffuse on the kitchen counter. It doesn't reach the entire downstairs, but it fills the kitchen/family room just fine. In the bedrooms, it works great. The kids like the colored lights, but you can turn it off if you want. It still glows slightly even then, so if you are super sensitive to light when you sleep, you might want to set it somewhere out of eyesight. All in all, I've been happy with it.
