**Warning descriptive detail** Accept and love your lady parts! By using the product I feel more in tune with my body. I can now say with certainty how much menstrual blood I bleed. I love having my periods now! Last October I got a copper IUD put in. (Side note: this product is good to use with an IUD if you position the cup a little further away from the cervix to reduce risk of pulling out the IUD.) Ever since my IUD, I've dreaded that time of the month. The pain I can take, the embarrassment of staining the sheets while with my partner is unacceptable. There was no hiding that since we have white sheets!! :( Sleeping more than 3 hours was risky. I could bleed through a regular tampon, underwear and my pants in two hours sometimes. The flow was so horrible, I started buying super tampons. The smell of tampons has always been disturbing to me. The cause of that smell is bacteria and a pH change in the vagina. Tampons create an environment that the bacteria thrive in hence the smell. With the divacup I had zero smell!! Not having a tampon string is awesome!! Not having to worry about leaking is amazing!! Tip: I use the "c" shape fold as seen in my picture to insert Words of encouragement: this is your body get to know it! Don't get discouraged :) it's easy if you understand your personal anatomy.
