This item will give you the opportunity to repair and recover data from an old, slow PC. What it cannot do: --Allow you to use your settings and programs from the old PC in the same way you used to --Allow you to boot up your PC exactly the same way you did before, just faster --Clean or fix your old PC by itself Basically, it boots the PC with its own settings, not yours, and there's no way to recover your settings without painstakingly reinstalling them. However, it DOES make an old PC run quickly. So if you have an old computer that you've given up on, but you'd like to try and use it all over again (but not the same way you used to), this product is perfect. If you want to revitalize your old computer but keep it the same way it was, this device will be of no help to you.
