It has great sound and a "boost base" function
If you were a teen or in your early twenties in the 70s, then, you'll remember the term "boom box". That's what this device is. It has great sound and a "boost base" function. It plays CDs and so if you want to convert your CD collection to MP3 format then this is the device for you. You don't need to use multi-media software to do this (like Windows Media Player), you can convert CD music files to MP3 music files and simultaneously place them on an MP3 player with this device. Then you can enjoy your music, after purchasing an MP3 player, via the blue-tooth functionality of your vehicle's sound system. Welcome to the 21st century people! Damn them for making our lives easier. This does take quite a bit longer to do with this player vs. Windows Media Player, but, if not a techy it's much simpler. Well worth the price you pay for this device and, if you ask me, it's a steal. This device also comes with a Blue-tooth receiver, so, if you still have that 70s JBL or Kenwood receiver you can plug the Blue-tooth receiver ( adapter required to go from the mini headphone jack of the device to the old style headphone jack on your receiver) into your receiver and make it Blue-tooth compatible. Nice for listening to music on the patio while enjoying your favorite beverage. It also is capable of connecting to any Blue-tooth transmitter device, such as Blue-tooth headphones, via the integrated Blue-tooth receiver. So, save that valuable 70s or 80s cassette or CD music by placing it on an MP3 player. I promise it's painless with this device, just follow the included printed, yes! I said printed, instructions that are incluede. I would be happy to answer any ?s. Thanks!
