2ND UPDATE: I've never felt compelled to do an update review, let alone a 2nd update, but this product warrants it. I've been using the product for 18 months now and it still works better than any other fiber supplement I've ever used. This has given me a true clean feeling, day in and day out, even when I've missed some daily doses. While this may be another TMI comment, but if you're looking to minimize your toilet paper usage, then this is the product! I'm especially thankful for when I'm traveling and the hotel has the equivalent of sandpaper for toilet paper. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: Still using the product almost a year later and it continues to work extremely well without all the typical negative fiber side-effects (bloating, cramps, gas). This product will continue to be a part of my daily regime and it's nice to curb strong hunger pains and to always feel clean back there. I'll preface this with, I didn't know this was a product marketed towards gay men, but I'll give my opinion as a straight male. :) So I was looking into finding an alternative to Metamucil, especially because I'm always on the go. While constantly traveling for work, it's hard to get enough fiber in my diet. I also use fiber to help regulate the amount of food I eat. Fiber definitely helps me feel full longer. Anyway, this was one of the top rated fiber supplements so I figured I'd give it a try. I replaced my daily glass of Metamucil with Pure for Men and didn't notice any real benefit. By about day 5 or 6, I noticed a significant change in my BM. It was similar to Metamucil, but much cleaner and less goopy. Really not trying to give TMI, but it was what I'd equate a healthy BM to be. Additionally, I'm cleaner than ever and have never felt better in that department. Let the product work for a week before posting a review. It really does work! I'll be purchasing another bottle very soon!
