Ok, so I never write reviews on amazon, but I have been using this product for several months and it's about time I got on here to gush about how well it works. For years I have been sort of obsessed with blue hair, and I finally did it myself when I was given a tube of the sparks electric blue color as a surprise gift from my mother (yes, I have a very unusual and awesome mom). I was really skeptical about the fact that it was supposedly permanent and only said to leave it in for 20 minutes, since I have used semi permanent crazy colors before on sections of my hair and have had to leave them in much longer for minimal results. But with this stuff, it surprisingly worked completely as stated. And the color stays bright for a long time and has faded hardly at all; I only ever need to re-dye when the roots grow out (which for me is faster than most people, but still). I am constantly not only complimented on the color but asked if I just dyed it, which is usually a few weeks after I actually did. I really really love the color and this product. HOWEVER. There are definitely some cons, as with anything like this. DO NOT try to use this color unless you are planning to bleach your hair for the maximum amount of time you can (most instructions say 60-90 minutes), or have very light hair to begin with. It isn't worth trying this dye if you don't do that. It will not show up, and even if it does, you have no right to complain about this product not being the right color. I know this from years of dying my hair with a very dark brown natural root color. Also, although the blue from my hair does not fade, some dye does wash out with every shampoo, so my bathtub is definitely stained as a result. I have bleached it and that works very well to take the color away just fine, but I'm at a point where I'm holding out on that for a while since the dye keeps coming out and staining more anyway. For me, these things are not a huge issue, and the color is so amazing and does not fade, that I still consider this a fantastic product despite these problems. If you are willing to commit to a color like I am, this dye is what I definitely recommend.
