I bought this item to help with the pet odor from the room my ferret is in. It has done nothing to eliminate or reduce the smell and I clean his room/cage twice a day. I thought maybe it would take a few days to completely air out. After a couple days of running this, now a I get tis burning smell coming from it and I can't figure out why. I checked the filter and the rest of the unit, nothing seems to be out of order but the distinct burning smell coming from it made me stop using it. I don't want my pet breathing that smell in...especially since I have no idea what it is coming from. Too much of a hassle to send back and I already got rid of the box. But I am pissed that I opted for this brand considering I never heard of it before vs a brand I knew. Now I have to buy another one. update: After I wrote this initial review, the seller reached out me and replaced my original at no additional cost to me. I got the new on and it works as expected. excellent customer service and i would recommend.
