These work great for doing just what I need them too, if you know what I mean... They keep the headboard from hitting the wall so nobody complains. And by "nobody" I mean "my husband every time I lean against the headboard so I can sit up in bed and read but then I have to readjust my position to get comfortable because I can stay up reading an entire book all night making him sigh irritatingly that I pushed on the headboard again". And then I get mad because he is complaining about the headboard and I passive aggressively nag when he moves the headboard while watching TV in bed until eventually we are throwing each other's crap in the lawn and the HOA complains and we have to separate and go bankrupt in court arguing over who gets the bedroom furniture. Or you can just buy this $8 headboard stabilizer and save yourself a lot of problems.
