I bought this after trying a couple of other wireless OBD devices, only to find that those require additional software purchase or subscription to get any meaningful data. In fact this gave me enough cool data that I left it plugged into my 2008 Lincoln MKX for a few days. During that time, my keyless entry (i.e., remote key) began acting erratically - working off and on, and from different distances away from the car - and ultimately stopped working altogether. I tried multiple keys, changed key batteries, etc., ultimately making a service appointment at the dealer. I never made any connection between the OBD device and the locks until I removed the OBD for another reason and the keyless entry and remote start began working again. I've tested this a few times to the result; I've googled this and there doesn't seem to be any record out there of this stuff happening, so maybe it's just me. Just want to provide a heads-up - it's a good device and I'd buy it again, just wanted to solve the mystery for anyone else experiencing this.
