I just received this duffel bag today, and it looks, and smells, great. It smells like leather and probably the oils they use to treat it. I can understand why people might not care for it, but I find it agreeable. The leather also has visual character -- small marks and color variations that suggest to me that the animal had a life before its hide was made into luggage. Anyway, the stitches are straight and neat, and it looks to me as if the thing is made to last. So far so good. (With luck, my old brain will remember to update this review once I've used the bag a bit.)
