I have both the pro and the standard and I like the pro much better and it's worth the extra $. The pro is quieter even with more air flow. I like that it changes the speed when it auto detects poor quality air and to my surprise this has happened at least twice in the 1st four days I've had it. This is happening even with high rated merv whole house filters. The size is noticeably bigger and I don't like the white bottom as much as the all silver in the standard version. I'm not sure if the blue uv light can be turned off at night like the standard. I couldn't get the app to connect to the pro (only the standard), but I don't see any value with the app anyway. On full speed it is moving significantly more air than the standard. You can see air quality on the device screen which is great. We noticed a good amount of voc reduction with the standard using a device that measures vocs. Happy with this purchase. Bought through Amazon vs direct for free return shipping but this isn't going back. Had an issue with the standard molekule and a replacement device was made very easy by the company.
