My dog can chew through pretty much anything and she loves having something to chew on. I try to keep a lot of dog toys around so she will stay away from the kids' toys and household items. This toy is a good size for big dogs and ftwr 2 days she hasn't destroyed it! I can usually tell within 10 minutes if the toy will last or if she can break off pieces. There's some plastic or something inside that gives it a noise when she bites it. It's nice to have something other than a squeak toy. There's also a small hole to put dog treats in and the texture on the outside will work with peanut butter. Our dog is 70+ lbs and loves this.
