I saw this at the Hawaii film festival, and the whole audience loved it. The actors are excellent (Downton Abbey, and Marigold Hotel fame). This is the story of a young girl who lives alone, because she is "different" in many ways. She has very few people skills, works in a library, wears the same, grey-toned clothing daily, and her little house has a very overgrown garden surrounding it--which she does not want to take care of--due to her many fears about things. Through circumstance she encounters a cranky next door neighbor, who begins to teach her many things about gardening, which spills over into her life in many wonderful and interesting ways. She meets a young man in the library, and falls in love, however the story takes some clever twists and turns, and so all is not as it should be until the end, which will surprise you. The viewer is definitely left with a warm feeling at its conclusion, along with a greater understanding of people who are "different". This is a story of hope, of friendship, and love, all told in a most unique way, and is suitable for all ages. You will love this film.
