Perfect Stroller NO front wheel issues (explained)
I almost did not order this due to a few reviews that complained of noisy flimsy out of control front wheels. Glad i did not pay attention. I think i know what was wrong with the wheels based on my experience this morning using the stroller for the first time. First of all, they are not out of the ordinary noisy. I noted that the left front wheel was going wild but the right front was steady. I got to a picnic table and inspected. The out of control front wheel was put on wrong. I took it off and reversed it and the problem was solved. Note that when you are putting the wheels on there is an arrow that should be facing up not down. I have had 3 Go Pet Club strollers in the last 4 yrs that i use to take my 14 yr old matepoo who weighs 15 lbs.. Each one had problems with the zippers and net tearing and it was too hard to fix by hand. This stroller has no zippers so that is a real plus. Another big plus of this stroller is that even when the dog sits with all it's weight in the rear of stroller it does not tip over. The Go Pet Club stroller would tip over, extremely dangerous and i had to make sure the dog was always in front. This stroller is solid and well made, not cheap feeling. The liner is not enough, too hard so i put foam on top of it and covered it with a towel that i can wash when necessary. Stability and maneuverability excellent. The front wheels turn a lot to absorb shocks and my last 3 strollers did the same, they are doing what they are meant to do. As for assembly, not too bad but the instructions do not tell you to put the brakes on (the ones the parts that are red in color) on the rod before putting on the rear wheels. The cup holder is rather difficult to attach due to lack of room. You have to use a very short Phillips screwdriver. All in all this is a very good stroller and I do recommend it. Ad says that it holds up to 25 lbs. I would say that a 25 lb dog would maybe be more comfortable in something larger. The dog could sit okay but not stretch out. My 15 lb dog can lay down in full stretch but touches front and back openings. The only thing i would change is that it needs to have another safety strap.
There is one on the left side only. I took the one off of my previous stroller and sewed it on to this one so now i have two straps. Hope this information is helpful to perspective buyers.
