They work fine, and are activated by motion at about 15 feet. The light is dimmer than my InnoGear MT-045 solar light, but that was expected. It's still bright enough. Using a wire coat hanger, I fashioned a hanging clip that inserts tightly into the attachment slots and clips around the edge of a gutter, as seen in two attached photos. This gutter-clip mounting is secure and effective and preferable to drilling holes into the house.
