This EXP1250 12V 5Ah Home Alarm Battery was easy to install and did the job it was intended to do. No giant box, it was well packaged with plastic covers on the terminals for safety and Amazon got it to me very quickly. I simply removed the old battery and replaced it with this one and my alarm system continues to function normally. I don't know how long they're meant to last so I just decided to replace mine at the 3 year mark as a precaution and because we had recently had an ice storm where we lost power so that means my alarm system was using my 3 year old battery. As such for safety reasons I decided to replace the old battery with this new one. My old one had the same stats except that this one was a 5Ah and my old one was a 4Ah. That just means that this new one will last longer if I lose power, but it's the right type for those people who's batteries have the same stats but might have a 4Ah model. This ones better and a very reasonable price. Highly recommended product.
