I don't write reviews often but I felt this was a product worth a review. For first timers, like me, using this product l recommend reading the paper directions NOT the directions on the bottle. The bottle says you can leave it in your hair up to 10 minutes but the paper directions says if this is your first time to only apply it for no more than 3 minutes and in time you can work up to 10 minutes. I didn't read these instructions and left it on my hair 10 minutes and I had blonde roots and purple ends. I recommend purchasing a clarifying shampoo with this product in the event your hair turns purple like mine did. I bleach my hair every summer and the hardest part for me is getting it that gorgeous platinum blonde color from black. My hair goes through so many different colors of orange and yellow during this process and tons of damage to my hair and not to mention the hair loss (ugh!!) I thought I would give this a try this year. You can see from the photos how dark my hair was yesterday and how amazing it is now and all I did was 1 bleach application! In the past it would take about 7 bleaches to get it to a decent color and I only needed 1 this time because of this product - AMAZING!!! I have used it twice. First time i left it on too long but washed it out and the orange carrot top hair i had was a golden yellow. I waited till morning to try another shampoo before I bleached again to see how it would turn out and the results were amazing! I seriously cannot believe how much my hair has transformed and I have done 1 bleach treatment. I would recommend this product to anyone! You are doing something wrong if this product doesn't work for you...reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns!
