I was skeptical about the quality of the wood when I ordered it, but to my surprise it was very nice! Sanded smooth and ready for finishing. I loved the fact I could do what I want and have something I couldn't find. I stained the top and painted the rest of it. I also liked the simple lines. It goes well with my modern and mid-century style. The leaves open and close fairly smoothly. I have a small space so it's perfect!
