ADDENDUM: I recently spent two weeks between California and Hawaii. I wore the visor outdoors the entire time. Didn’t get any suntan at all, on my face, so I do believe the product works. You *do* have to be strong of heart to wear it, though. I had people stop dead in their tracks and smile incredulously at me as I walked past them. I had people politely pass me by and then giggle at me, murmuring their questions and thoughts about my get-up. And I had one person politely pass me by and then vent aloud “why the F*** did you even come to Hawaii??!!” Some people, like store owners, simply asked me straight-out what I was wearing. I admit, it looks like I just got off a motor cycle, or like I’m a Power Ranger, or the child of Darth Vader. I don’t care. It was worth the trouble because my skin needed the protection. Who knows? I might’ve just started a trend. In a few years from now, we might *all* be wearing these against the sun! PS — the above was written in the fall of 2019. It is now May of 2020 and Covid-19 is lurking about. What a great thing to own, as protection from the public, when I walk around my neighborhood now. I got the last laugh!
