I have never written a review for Amazon.com before, but I've also never been so thoroughly impressed with a product before - within seconds of opening the package. I ordered this scale because my wife and I were disgusted with the inconsistency of our Weight Watchers scale by Conair which we had purchased many years ago. That scale would keep track of your overall weight loss as well, but it would give different readings depending on where you stood on it and where it was on the tile floor. It also was plastic and creaky. The EatSmart Precision Tracker came last night and we couldn't wait to try it. Knowing the best time to weigh is in the morning, we decided to try it on our kids. Our 2 year old had never been heavy enough to register on the Weight Watchers scale. The Precision Tracker allowed us to see her weight for the first time. It consistently weighed all 3 of our kids. The one time we thought it was off, we found our daughter had grabbed a sippy cup, which explained the ever so slight weight gain. One thing I haven't seen in prior reviews was a description of how the Precision Tracker displays your weight from the moment you step on the scale. You know how an analog scale with a dial will give you smooth feedback of the increasing weight as you fully step on the scale? You see the dial go from 0 and increase as you step one foot on and than increase again as you put your second foot on, increasing to your actual weight as you shift your weight from the floor to the scale. This is the first digital scale I've seen that does this. I like it because that's user feedback I felt was missing from our previous scale and something lost when switching from analog to digital. Before I had to just trust the digital scale because I wasn't getting the continuous feedback of the increasing weight as I stepped on. It feels like I got back that aspect I felt I had lost when I switched from analog to digital. So, my wife and I waited until this morning to weigh ourselves at the normal time. My wife was worried we would gain from our previously inconsistent scale. We were both down a pound and unable to get the scale to show different weights no matter how many times we weighed ourselves. We totally love the fact that the scale knows the difference between the two of us and that we don't have to press any buttons before stepping on. You just step on the scale. Also, the scale is beautiful to look at. Our previous scale was cheap plastic and creaky sounding when you stepped on. This scale is solid, beautiful to look at, yet very thin. I love the glass top. I am so happy with this purchase, I want everyone to know how great this product is. Money well spent. Pros: It provides consistent weight. It provides continuous feedback of your weight as you step on. You just step on to use it. No tapping the scale or pushing buttons. It tracks weight loss progress. It knows the difference between my wife and I based on our weight. It's well constructed, solid, and has a durable feel. It's beautiful to look at. Cons: None
