I read the comments before I purchased. You have to lock the legs so it doesn’t fold on you when you sit!! Yes it is low to the ground. Its the same kind I had in the 80’s! Great for laying the sun. The ones who complained about it had to have been born in the 90’s and don’t know how to use it! Love it just purchased another one!
