After 3 years, this mower has done well. I've never had a problem with not having enough power and the only maintenance I've done is sharpen the blade and clean the undercarriage. The only problem is the batteries slowly lose their ability to hold a long charge. I had been able to make it through my 1/3 acre yard with 2 of the 2 Amp Hour batteries with charge to spare. This year I am not even close to that and the batteries are becoming a problem. Given the cost of the batteries, it is a large expense to have every few years. That being said, I still would never go back to a gas mower. I may look at other electric mowers in the future, but I'm sold on them. The pros far out way the cons to me. Its much quieter than a gas mower, its light, I can store it vertically and I don't have to worry about storing gas or oil. I just hope the technology involved in the batteries improves.
