This is so much easier to use than the ones where you need to us a lot of muscle to twist everything into special locked positions. The ability to just drop the items in position (the back of the bowl is flat, so you can't mess up), and push the top is a real bonus for those of us who no longer have the hand/arm strength of our younger days. The only negative would be that it is sort of loud.
