So I had the awareness buying this that the wood appearance was printed on, and I’m fairly versed in insulated stainless steel products so I had pretty realistic expectations for this. It appears to meet the expectations however I did want to add a review because for a brief moment I panicked when unboxing it. The photos I’ve seen seem to neglect some depressions in the base, it looks like a dent creased into it but upon inspection it became clear it is the design and not damage. I had an impression from images that the exterior would be smooth and rounded so I was initially concerned. I figured displaying this for future buyers may help them anticipate it rather than having a wave of fear on first inspection. So I’m adding a photo that hopefully prepares people considering this. I have mixed feelings about drinking whiskey from a metal container, I’ve done it before and it isn’t really a problem, but in some ways it isn’t the same as a glass, I do however like my ice to last. I feel like in that respect this is a worthy addition to the glassware. I look forward to using it for a long time whenever it suits the task.
