I actually bought two of these duvets. I wanted something cool in temperature, but heavy in weight at the same time. Both arrived clean in package with no tears, rips, stains, or loose strings. Both were VERY soft to the touch. I immediately washed both according to the instructions (cool, gentle wash cycle. Low temp on dryer.) Of note, it does say DO NOT dry clean on the tag. One duvet fit perfectly in my regular sized washing machine with agitator in the middle. After washing and drying both duvets, they still looked pristine. There was NO rips, pulls, or bunching of the batting. This was extremely important to me as we have two dogs that sleep in the bed and I needed something I could wash. After drying, they fluffed up quite a bit more. I fit both duvets in a king size duvet cover. There is a small loop on each corner of the duvet. We have only slept with it 3 nights so far. Two duvets together gives a very fluffy, yet weighted/cozy feeling to my blankets. However I have not gotten hot at night with them so far. UPDATE: We have been sleeping with this product about 6 months so far. They have been washed/dried probably 3 times total without any damage to either of our two duvets. They both still look pristine. However once it hit about July (in VA), we changed to one duvet instead of two due to it being too hot. One duvet with a duvet cover works perfect for our hot weather here. Still cozy, but not too hot!
