I wanted to wait a while after purchasing before reviewing. After 3 weeks, I am happy with it so far. There are a few issues, but overall, a beautiful piece of technology. I purchased the Edifier R1280Ts Powered Bookshelf Speakers and they work great. PROS: - I bought the dark mahogany one and it is beautiful - Solid wood - Video instructions makes it easy to put together - Plays at proper speed - Comes with all required cables to connect to active speakers CONS: - Once the record finishes playing the last song, it keeps spinning and does not have an automatic shut off. - Arm does not return to the base; all manual - Dust cover requires it be fully propped open for it to stay open. So if you have on a bookshelf and you cannot fully open the top, you will have to use one hand to keep it open while you put a record on with the other. - The small piece that you use to play 33's has no place to store it. You just have to place on the player and have it move around and possibly get lost. - Need video to show how to adjust the weight for what effects
