Updating my original 1-star review below to reflect a couple of things. 1. The seller is wonderful. When I contacted them for a return they were quick to respond, apologetic for the issues and offered a large discount in lieu of a return since return shipping would be more than the credit. I opted to keep the item and take the discount. 2. I have worn this all “winter” in Charleston and lent it to several friends when they just had to try it. Not only do I get lots of compliments and “oh! I want one!” It is so incredibly soft and warm! It even kept my poor mother warm at a hospital visit when the ER blankets couldn’t. I stand by my concerns with the overall cut and sewing of the jacket but find that people say it is flattering, fun and comfy anyway. I am tempted to order more as gifts just to make friends and family happy and cozy. ORIGNAL REVIEW: Having read reviews I ordered this coat expecting a soft, oversized item that could be construed as a bath robe or just a cool, fluffy outer layer. The product that arrived is fluffy and oversized but is sewn in such a way that it never quite falls into place as a coat or robe. The back panel is too narrow so that the pockets fall uncomfortably behind the position of normal pockets. The collate sticks up and out in all sorts of directions no matter how it is poked and prodded. The worst part is the bottom seam of the coat. If you look at the pictures, you can see that the hem puckers quite significantly. I so wanted this to work as a cozy-throw-on piece for running to the store or picking up kids. Unfortunately the construction made that impossible.
