I've been reading a book on Hashimoto's Thyroiditis ( The Root Cause) and one of the suggested supplements was Pure Encapsulations selenium taken in conjunction with Vitamin E (Sun-E). I have been dealing with hair loss for a quite a few months and was getting a bit desperate, as I knew my thyroid symptoms were progressing. I decided it was worth a try and much to my delight, I noticed a significant decrease in hair loss after I'd been on the supplement combo for about a month. Fast forward another two months...not only has my hair stopped falling out, but the bald spots near my temples are filling in with lovely new hair! I will continue to take this combination of supplements, as it is specifically aimed at reducing my TPO antibodies which have been elevated for quite some time.
