I bought this unit to power a 15 ft travel trailer. It is very quiet and I believe it is easily comparable to the Honda 2000 in terms of sound and size. It started right up once I put in the oil and gas. Time will tell if it will do the job as well as the Honda, but so far, it is performing fine. Several months later: One lesson after a few months with this unit is that you must tie it down if there is a chance it would tip over. I had it in the back of my pickup truck and have had it tip over twice now scratching it up and spilling some fuel. Otherwise, it continues to perform flawlessly. I do have one little complaint about this unit .... it is hard to fuel this unit ..... almost every time I fill it, I overflow the tank and the gas runs out onto the case causing discoloration. The gas goes in fine, but you cannot tell it is full until it overflows. Not a good design for fueling.
