I have a Phillips fryer which is a very good quality fryer, but too small. I bought another brand in a 5.8 Qt size which was expensive and junk and I sent back. I bought this one because it is large and had no digital gadgetry to go bad. Trust me on this, the digital gadgetry goes back quickly on air fryers and they quit working. Anyway, I bought this and just received it and I am stunned at the quality versus the price. It is huge but still fits on the counter nicely and has plenty of cook power. I put 8 chicken tenders side by side in it and cooked them at 390 for 15 minutes and they were perfect, crisp and juicy. I put roughly 3 pounds of freshly cut french fries in it on 390 for 20 minutes and they were perfect. The drawer opens and closes perfectly and very solidly without the necessity for any maneuvering or swooping it in from the back. I am totally delighted with this appliance. I advise people to stay away from the digital ones and get the ones with the manual timers and temp settings. I think this is going to last a good long time and I would recommend it to anyone.
