Do this to keep the bees away!
I've had 3 of these for more than one season. None leak, easiest feeder to clean (use a bottle brush). I had a bee problem. Yellow jackets would land then crawl threw the holes and chill inside. Check the picture. Just cut a small piece of fishing line (less than an inch section per hole) and put a dot of superglue on either side of the hole (on the underside!) to hold the fishing line in place. This cuts the hole size in half and the bees can no longer crawl in. No need to color your water. Just do a 4:1 water to sugar mix. --Make a concentrate of 1:1 water sugar and keep it in the freezer. Then defrost and mix 3:1 water to concentrate to make a 4:1 water sugar mix.
