We are transitioning from our osprey to having our toddler walk full-time during hikes and walks. This is nice as it gives her a break from the walk but is not bulky to keep on. It is taxing if wearing her for extended periods but we are trying to encourage her to walk so not a big deal. We love it, she loves it. If you are looking for something to wear for long periods, this is not your solution - but a great transition piece for a toddler who needs breaks during long days out!
