I ordered this shoe and the same one in gold for my son's wedding this coming Saturday. Because I have terrible feet, I started wearing the shoes around the house hoping to break my feet in to the idea of heels for this special day. I was so relieved after a short time to feel no discomfort whatsoever. Well, my pinky toe seems determined to stick out under one of the straps and that is uncomfortable but I can deal with it. Purely a foot issue, not a shoe issue, because it's only on one foot. Anyway, I can't tell you how happy I am that I will be able to wear these shoes throughout the wedding and reception. Going barefoot is okay if you're a guest, not so much if you're the groom's mom. :)
