Game Changer in the development of my daughter.
My girl, a surviving twin, was born at 24 weeks weighing in at 1 pound and 3 ounces. She has been intubated her whole life, and for much of it heavily sedated. Long story short, she is beginning to do a little better day by day. After weaning her off of most of her sedatives, she would lie in the PICU and move very little. Now enters the Baby Einstein Jumper. The first time we used the jumper, we carefully put her in and she sat there doing nothing, a bit confused. I moved the jumper for her, and put my hands on her feet to show her the motion. After about 30 minutes she began to sway side to side, realizing the purpose of her legs and feet for the first time. Roughly a week later she caught on and began to bounce all by herself. This began to open the door to other physical improvements. Because of the jumper, she learned head control, then she learned to sit and roll over. Today she is learning how to stand. She plays more and is far more alert. And now, she loves the jumper so much that she cries when we take her out of it. This one toy has been more important to the development of my baby girl than any of the other treatments.
