Improved But Automatic Cleaning a Nuisance
This S350e is a big technological improvement over the previous generation's S300. This new model has a very cool automatic opening and closing lid, and you can change the settings so either just the lid opens when you approach it, or both the lid and the seat.
What's more, it has an automatic night light and high tech e-water cleaning, and the remote is futuristic and modern. The remote is silver on the outside, and when you press the area on the remote to make your selection, a small circular light shines from inside the area you just pressed, highlighting what you chose. This remote is much nicer than the old model's outdated remote that looked like a bunch of Lego blocks arranged in a rectangle.
This new washlet is very slim and compact, and the styling and design are sleek and futuristic, unlike the old model that looked a bit medical and nursing-home-ish. Also, the new model has an instant water heater on board to heat an endless supply of water if you need it to cleanse, whereas the old model had a limited reservoir of heated water that ran out if you used a lot.
Just the conversation value of this device is worth purchasing it as your friends ooh and aahh over the futuristic way it automatically opens and closes, and they get so entertained and laugh at using something like this for the first time, especially guys. People definitely express a lot of fascination, amusement and curiosity when they come across this device in your bathroom.
Definitely makes you feel like you have the best of everything and the bathroom of the future.
Update: The default setting is for the e-water to spray the bowl every 8 hours that it has not been used. This feature is a nuisance because it cleans in the middle of the night when most people are asleep, and the noise it makes is enough to wake most people up, especially if it is in your master bathroom. You can turn off this setting, but only if you disable to e-water feature completely, which means that the e-water won't spray the toilet or wand even when you are using it.
