I am a medical student and I regularly use this oxymeter to hastily evaluate patients. It is a very precise tool. When available and needed, I usually check the values I get from this product with the values from blood gas test and the cardiac monitors. It works considerably well even with patients with cold fingers (while the other equipment I see here in the hospital does not work). It also has a feature very useful if you want to check your pulse and your blood oxygen saturation levels which is the "2 way readings", you can turn the numbers upside down if the reader is measured themselves. The only issue is that there is no hole to put the neck chord through the carrying bag (at least I could not find a way), But this is just an irrelevant issue compared with all the pro's this product has. I recommend it!
