I used this glue to repair my hiking boots. I've had them many years, and the sole was detaching from the body of the boot. But they fit really well, and I find them extremely comfortable. The treads have been very durable, but I almost never wear them on pavement, so I am sure that has helped. As a result, I've just kept using and using them and was quite sad when the soles started to separate from the body of the boot when I was in Yellowstone earlier in the year. Enter Boot-Fix Shoe Glue. I decided to give this stuff a try, and reglued the soles. I was a little worried because the front lip wouldn't fit flush with the boot any more, and I feared water would get in and loosen the glue. Being a risk taker, I took them to Costa Rica any way. Hiking 30km, including more than a dozen river crossings, across Corcovado National Forest - the glue held the entire way. Trudging through around the 5th of these, I was telling myself what an idiot I was, as these soles would never hold, but they never loosened even a touch. I definitely have to give props to this stuff - worked amazingly!
