Learning to rollerskate at 47 is nerve-racking. Inevitably I will fall down in public and look embarrassing having to get up again. It involves doing things that look like exercise in closer proximity to teenage boys than I usually am comfortable with. It means twenty minutes putting on layers of protective gear to make sure I don't wind up in the emergency room next to someone with covid. I skate much better now with my Thousand helmet because I'm spending significantly less time thinking about how dorky I look. Most round skater style helmets make my big head look massive, but I think I look pretty cute in this one. Oh yeah, obviously it will protect your head. It has all the proper certifications and ratings and it's super adjustable and really comfortable to wear, but duh, you could have found all that for half the price. I paid extra for cuteness and this helmet delivered. My dad always used to say, never spend more on a helmet than the head inside is worth. Listen to me and my dad and shell out a few extra bucks for this pretty helmet, it will protect your brain
